Dear Bob Rae,

I have recently become aware that government initiative to create a cellphone rate calculator has been dropped in favour of the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association.

Canada has some of the highest cellphone rates compared to the rest of the world. A tool like this is not only convenient for customers, but is also a necessity to help bring down the price of our over inflated wireless rates.

Too often are the large telecoms favoured over the general public and this type of favouritism needs to stop. It is difficult enough as it is since there are very few providers and they keep a monopoly on the industry.

This tool needs to be made public and not swept under the rug. The telecommunication industry needs to know that they need to provide a better service for a lower price and not get a free pass on everything.

Wow! I know it’s been awhile since I actually rented a game, but when did the price of a rental become $9.00??

Curses, one of my surround speakers have blown. I guess not really blown because at low volume it’s alright, but as soon as I turn it up it gets super distorted. It was the front right speaker, so I just exchanged it with one of the rear ones, since they don’t get as loud as the front and it seems to be working fine so far.

Phew.

It just goes to show, I may need to buy a new system soon. Sure, I can just replace the speaker, but I’ll never find just one matching speaker so I’d have to buy a whole set anyways. If I’m gonna buy a new set, I might as well get good ones and I might as well get a better system to go with it.

I’m hoping this one will still last me though. At least for another year so I can save up for a new system. I’d rather have the money to pay it up front than charge it.

The new Xbox dashboard is out and it’s awesome! Much faster that the previous blades and really well put together!

Also, I don’t care what other people say, but I like the new Mii style avatars. I’m calling them Me60s. As you can see, that’s me on the right.

I wouldn’t recommend linking directly to it though. The server seems to go down every once in awhile, so just get it and download it.

Update: Now all I need to do is buy a larger hard drive so I can have more than one game copied at a time.

Woo! My buddy won free tickets to Evil Dead: The Musical, but can’t attend, so bow I’m the lucky recipient. I wanted to see this show for awhile now and free is good by me.

I’ll keep you posted on how it is.

I saw the Indy movie last night, and it rocked! There were a lot of doubts with this movie, but it’s packed full of entertainment! It doesn’t quite hold a candle to the previous Indy films, but I still recommend it anyways!
