It’s been far too long since I’ve blogged, and a lot has happened since. Too much in fact that it finally blew up and I need to get it all out.

Ok, where to begin?

Let’s start with the big one. The new job. As most of you know, It’s been my first two weeks in my new job and I have to say, everything here is pretty fantastic. The people here are cool, and I love the open office concept. No more cubicles!!!! I’ve got new challenges, and I’m learning a new language. (Computer language that is, although, I should learn Russian. Who knows when I may end up in Moscow on some crazy drinking binge!!) Working downtown is really cool. There’s just so much around me, being only two blocks away from Union Station, that I take a good walk around the city everyday at lunch. Plus, the scenery is really, really nice ;)

Benny has is birthday on the 18th. We threw him a surprise party at Dave and Busters and he was loving it. I even got a posting of him on Destructoid but he didn’t seem to happy about that.. hehe. You kidding me?? I would have loved to have my birthday wish posted on Destructoid. That would r0×0rs the s0×0rs. Click the link for more details on what we went through for his party though.

I’ve made a breakthrough in Geetar Hero II. I’ve been having soooo much trouble with Woman by Wolfmother (on Hard mode, btw). I just couldn’t get past it no matter how hard I tried and it was pissing me off. Finally, on Sunday, I picked up the controller and said “Fuck this! Wolfmother… I will rule you!!!” and I did! In fact, I was on such a roll, I continued to beat 20 more tracks on hard mode. I only have 18 left to go now! Woooooooo!! I’m coming after you Benny!! :P

Well… I also had more to say, but since I haven’t blogged for so long, I forgot most of it :( Oh well, I’m sure it’ll come back to me.

1. At Lunch Time, Sit In Your Parked Car With Sunglasses on and point a Hair Dryer At Passing Cars. See If They Slow Down.

5. Put Decaf In The Coffee Maker For 3 Weeks. Once Everyone has Gotten Over Their Caffeine Addictions, Switch to Espresso.
6. In The Memo Field Of All Your Checks, Write “For Smuggling Diamonds”
7. Finish All Your sentences with “In Accordance With The Prophecy.”
8. Don t use any punctuation
9. As Often As Possible, Skip Rather Than Walk.
10. Order a Diet Water whenever you go out to eat with a serious face.
11. Specify That Your Drive-through Order Is “To Go.”
12. Sing Along At The Opera
13. Go To A Poetry Recital And Ask Why The Poems Don’t Rhyme
14. Put Mosquito Netting Around Your Work Area And Play tropical Sounds All Day.
15. Five Days In Advance , Tell Your Friends You Can’t Attend Their Party Because You’re Not In The Mood.
16. Have Your Co-workers Address You By Your Wrestling Name, Rock Bottom.
17. When The Money Comes Out The ATM, Scream “I Won!, I Won!”
18. When Leaving The Zoo, Start Running Towards The Parking lot, Yelling “Run For Your Lives, They’re Loose!!”
19. Tell Your Children Over Dinner. “Due To The Economy, We Are Going To Have To Let One Of You Go.”
20. And The Final Way To Keep A Healthy Level Of Insanity…….Send This E-mail To Someone To Make Them Smile.

Going to the Air concert this weekend at the Koolhaus for some mad techno beats. If you haven’t heard about air before, give em a listen. They’re pretty cool.

Also, White Stripes tickets go on sale today for a July 5th concert at the Molson Amphibian thingy. The Stripes are, by far, one of the rockinest shows I have ever seen, second only to Pearl Jam. I’ve seen alot of concerts in my day, and it is truly an experience to have!

This has been chewing inside of me, but I can finally blog it up cause everyone knows, and now you’ll know!

I officially gave my two weeks notice at work and accepted a new position downtown Toronto! This is exciting stuff because it’s basically a life altering event. From now on, everything is going to be different. Things were a little stale, but now new adventures are coming my way.

I know Benny is happy cause I’m closer to his place now, and we can probably meet for some lunches.

It’s the same type of work, but with enough differences to keep things interesting. Plus, the extra pay is really really nice!

I’ll miss my old job, since it was my first job. They gave me a great opportunity, but sometimes you just need to move on.
