So I’m on a new mission. I’m gonna buy a new Xbox 360 game each month to keep my collection growing, and of course to have a variety of games I can play whenever I feel. Now the real question is, which games do I buy, or more importantly, which game do I buy for October?
Here’s a list of the games I’m thinking on getting. What do think I should get?
I’m thinking Hockey is always a good pick, then I can start up a hockey league tournament, but I do love the action/adventure games.

So, to follow up from yesterday’s post, I play a gazillion hours of Saints Row last night. Managed to take over 2 outta the 3 gangs! Woop woop. Which also means, I’m almost done the game then :( Oh well, It’s been a good filler till the next GTA, that’s for sure. I’ll probably still play it after the story is done to complete some of the secondary missions. Not all of them, but most of them.
Funny how it works out though, cause Brandie and I were going to hang out last night, but she never came over, not even a phone call. Oh well I guess. Shit happens, but I’m glad I had my vision the other day, cause if it doesn’t work out, well, then it’s actually no big deal.
On another note, as J0k3r posted, Guitar Hero II is coming out for the Xbox 360, with endless possibilities!! WOOO HOOOOO!!! I got hooked on that game since I played it at Gwilly’s but never had a Playstation 2 to get it myself…. so.. IN YOUR FACE BOYEEEEEEEEE!! haha.. I don’t know exactly what that’s supposed to mean :P
I’ve recently come to a realization. I’ve been spending too much time chasing girls and not enough time nerdin’ it up. What you say??? Girls > Nerdness??
I thought that too, but I was oh so very wrong. In fact, it’s more like Girls == Nerdness. Ya see, I realize, being a Nerd (or a Geek) is actually a big part of my life, it’s who I am. I can have all the girls in the world, but without that nerd inside of me, I’m still incomplete.
I’ve really had myself fooled lately. I haven’t been playing that much videogames, I haven’t been working on my own little geeky projects. I’ve been too busy ignoring all that. What does that mean? It’s means I haven’t been myself. Every girl I’ve met recently isn’t getting to know me properly. I’ve been a fake… a phoney!!
Now videogames and the what-not are NOT more important than girls are. Remember, they’re equal! It needs a balance. I’ve disrupted that balance and it needs to be fixed. I don’t know what that going to mean, but I need to go back to being Smokey B…. not fake Smokey B.
Since I’ve been dating Brandie, I have not been nearly nerdy enough to actually be me! I’ve always thought in my head that I’ve been embracing my geekness, but I was just lying to myself the whole time. I’ve been hiding it. (To a degree of course… certain people I’m always gonna be a nerd to, no matter what.)
Anywho, that’s my rant and I don’t know why. Just sometime on my mind. On that note, LAN party anyone??!?!

I had this on tape when I was a kid, and it was my favourite that I ever had! I totally forgot about it until last night and found it on wikipedia. Now, I need to find the mp3’s!! All the great wrestlers of 1985 singing Land of 1000 dances rocks, plus Junk Yard Dog’s Grab Them Cakes is awesome!!!

I’ve gone back to writing one of my earlier movie script ideas. I can’t tell you what it is right now, but it’s going to be good. I had the idea when Bud and I first started taking our Script Writing class, but never followed through with it. I did try, but I couldn’t come up with a really good story for my main character. He had no purpose. Without purpose, you have no story!  That has all changed. The other day I had a moment of clarity and the story line just fell into place.
I’m really excited on this one because the character is really really really cool, and now that he has a purpose, I can write one helluva script! (hopefully)
Random note: I’ve been feeling really shitty these last few days. Stomach is a little sore. Head hurts. Body feels all around “blah.”
I had a pretty quiet weekend, all things considering. Not much happened Friday, I just kinda vegged out and played some Saints Row!
Saturday was just as quiet, althought I finally got off my ass and unpacked the rest of things. I hung up my pictures, did my laundry, cleaned up a little, did the dishes and then played some more Saints Row! (There’s a pattern developing.)
My buddy Chris came over and we smoked a few bowls in Homer. If you were ever fortunate enough to be graced by homer’s presence, then you’ll know what type of insane-fest that could be. So we got really blitz and played some Dead or Alive 4 (Some good battles, but we were pretty much even up!). Which reminds me, I wanna setup a DOA:4 tournament one night. $10 in, winner take all, and tons of booze! Sounds like a plan! Lemme know if you want in.
On Sunday, Brandie came over and we went to see Jackass 2. It was good, and had some good laughs, but no where near as good as the first! Preston as Bam’s dad was the best!!!!
Brandie seemed a little distant that day. Oh well, I’m not gonna get paranoid and dwell on it. She had a pretty crazy weekend, so she was probably just tired. It definately affected me though. I thrive off other peoples energy, and with the lack of energy there, I was totally bummed out.
She’s coming out to the Bacon Party this Friday, so there’ll be good times :)
My brain just gave me the blue screen of death and I don’t know how to reboot!
