Tomorrow’s the big day. Gonna be a long day. I’m hoping not to long! Damn I hate moving.
Oh well, there’s not much I can do about it now, we’s moving! At least we’re still in Mississauga, and I’ll be a helluvalot closer to work. I should be able to bike there in about ten minutes.
Plus, I’m finally getting HD-TV and a PVR.. w00t w00t! Wasting away on the couch has just gotten easier… or lazier, depending on how you figure it.
Here’s to hoping tomorrow goes by fast.
For those of you who have a RSS feed linked to Bacon Magazine, you may now notice it’s finally been updated!!
WOW!! you say? Why’s that? Well, I’ve finally decided to get off my lazy ass and put some work back into the ol’Bacon.
We have got competely blog format, and we are using WordPress as our content management system. It is completely awesome, and takes a huge workload off of me from updating the site!
We’re also moving the magazine to it’s own subdomain, so you can check out a sneak preview here: bacon.frymybacon.com
It still needs a few style changes, but we’ll be ready to go very soon!

Ok!! I had a moment of weakness! I’ll feel oh so dirty, but at the same time, oh so good!
I couldn’t handle it any longer without a video games system, after selling my previous xbox to Glen, I am now the proud new owner of an xbox 360!!!
It’s freakin sweet I tell ya! So far, I have Project Gotham 3 (which rocks!!) and Perfect Dark Zero (which is not as rockin). I haven’t tried my hand at xbox live yet, but I’m sure I’m going to get the bug!

As you may have noticed, there have been some weird things going on with the site lately. Recently, we just switch Web Hosting companies and the domain has been switching back and forth between the two for some odd reason, so posts I’ve made were done on one, but not the other.
If you’re reading this you’re we’re currently on the new and improved hosting service! (woohoo!)
A couple of things to note. FryMyBacon will be undergoing many changes over the next little while:
1) The completion of Doobie Movie is now our first priority task. It has been in hiatus for too long, and it’s so close to completion. We’re gonna start by finishing the missing details of the current movie list, plus adding tons more movies we’ve captured over the past little while. Also, a redesign of the interface will be done. The look seems a little too dated now.
2) The format change of Bacon Magazine We are going to change it into a blog format and we’re going to be using WordPress to manage the whole thing. Our old articles will still be available, and even some will be transfered over into the WordPress database. This will make it easier to manage, and probably give us more motivation to writing articles. Hopefully, we’ll setup user accounts and get more people writing articles, reviews, etc! I’m currently making a customized WordPress skin for Bacon Magazine, so we’ll be seeing that come up shortly.
3) PHP5! Woohoo. We finally have PHP5 support. I’m currently in the process of creating a whole slew of PHP5 classes and tools to make our programming lives a little easier. I’m going to add a development page to my blog where these classes will be freely availble for anyone to develop. Currently, I’m working on implementing a database class that will handle all database communication, and returning results in an easy to use structured format.
